What a power is

Powers are the fruit-style kits. They sit beside fighting styles and weapons as the three damage types. Most are area and ranged. Common powers usually have 1 or 2 moves, Uncommon powers mostly 1 to 4, and Rare and Legendary powers 4 or 5. Skills use Z, X, C, V, and F when the power has that slot.

The experience page lists the same 18 powers the Update 4 wiki table lists. You can hold duplicates. A storage cap of 99 per power has been shown by a player inventory, not by a developer tooltip quoted here.

Five ways to get one

  1. Gacha, the normal path. At level 50, Floppa Gacha charges $25,000 and Doge Gacha charges 25 Gems. The listed odds match.
  2. Tree spawn. The experience FAQ says a power spawns under a tree every hour and despawns after 30 minutes. Update 4 changed the spawn from 5 minutes to 1 hour. The safe zone around that area was added in Update 1. Wild finds are described as hard to locate and usually weak.
  3. A drop from another player. Often a Common they do not want.
  4. Trading. Added in Update 3. Check both sides of the trade window before you accept.
  5. Raids. A clear pays a random power plus Gems. The raid guide covers the level 1000 entry and the wave plan. Raid notes call this a poor way to hunt a specific Legendary.

Sea water hurts while you have a power equipped, unless your race is Fish. Fish keeps water immunity even with a power.

Listed gacha rates

These are per named power, not the chance of the whole rarity bucket. Three Commons at 17.48% already use about half the table.

Rarity Powers Listed chance each With Lucky gamepass
Common Invisible, Fly, Bomb 17.48% 16.96%
Uncommon Diamond, Spin, Barrier 6.92% 6.84%
Rare Moai, Sand, Ice, Water, Gold, Snow, Paw, Flame 3.08% 3.16%
Legendary Dough, Dog, Dark, Floppa 0.44% 0.63%

The rows sum to just under 100% because of rounding in the published table. Use the roll calculator if you want the chance of at least one success. A 0.44% Legendary is still unlikely in a handful of rolls: 100 rolls is the calculator default, not a promise.

There is also a 2x drop gamepass for item drops. That line is separate from the Lucky gacha rates above. Prices for those passes are not copied here.

How to read a roll

Keep a Rare or Legendary you will actually use. Store extras for trading rather than eating every duplicate.

  • Bomb, Fly, Invisible: travel and a small combat kit. Replace them when a Rare appears.
  • Barrier, Spin, Diamond: mid kits. Diamond is the one people keep for damage reduction, and it wants Melee points.
  • Flame, Paw, Ice, Gold, Water, Sand, Snow, Moai: the Rare row. Gold is used like Diamond for reduction. Snow is called out for raid crowds because of its area and a homing shot. Full move lists for Paw, Ice, Flame, Water, Sand, and Moai were not stable enough to rank.
  • Dark, Dog, Dough, Floppa: the Legendary row. Move notes and the tier page cover the ones with published kits.

Eat a power from the hotbar. Eating replaces the power you had equipped. Do not eat a storage copy you meant to trade.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many powers are in the game?

There are 18 powers in Update 4: Fly, Invisible, and Bomb (Common); Spin, Barrier, and Diamond (Uncommon); Flame, Paw, Ice, Gold, Water, Sand, Snow, and Moai (Rare); Dark, Dog, Dough, and Floppa (Legendary). Roll them at level 50, pick up the hourly tree spawn, take a player drop, trade, or clear a raid.

Where do stat points go?

Menu, then Stats. The four stats are Melee, Health, Weapon, and Power. Sources agree you can hold 7,200 points at level 2400 and that each stat caps at 2,400, so three stats can be maxed. A stat refund is reported at 50 Gems. Points gained per level are not consistent across guides, so this site does not print a per-level number.

What is the level cap in [UPDATE 4] Meme Sea?

The current cap stated on the experience page is level 2400. Update 4, dated July 10, 2024, is the changelog that raised the cap to that number. Later Roblox listing activity does not by itself describe a higher cap.

Do I need a code to play?

No. You can quest, roll powers, and sail without a code. Codes add Money, Gems, a $1 gag, a jumpscare, or a Rick Roll. Guides report that the Redeem Codes box expects level 25.

Should I pick Floppa or Cheems?

Either team. Floppa is the pirate side and Cheems is the marine side. Cheems Recruiter on Floppa Island can switch you to Cheems. The quest islands do not change with the team.
